The game comes up on Sunday, 19 November, 2023 inside the Stade Huye in Rwanda with Zimbabwe being the home team.
Both teams recorded draws on matchday one and will be looking to seal a first win in the qualifiers on Sunday.
While the Super Eagles were held to a shock 1-1 home draw against Lesotho on Thursday, Zimbabwe forced Rwanda to a goalless draw on Wednesday.
For the Warriors, they will be hoping to secure a first win against the Super Eagles in 42 years.
The last and only time they defeated the Eagles was in a friendly game in 1981 which ended 2-0.
Since the friendly win, the Warriors have suffered four defeats and managed two draws in the last six meetings with the three-time AFCON champions.
Also, the Warriors have only managed to score four goals and conceded 14 against the Nigerian senior mens national team.
Prior to Sundays 2026 World Cup qualifier, the last encounter between both teams was a friendly in 2019 in Asaba, Delta State which ended goalless.
Meanwhile, this is the second time the Warriors and the Eagles will be drawn in the same World Cup qualifying group.
They were paired together during the race for the 2006 tournament with the Eagles winning 3-0 in Harare and 5-1 in Abuja.
