Championship: Ndidi In Action, Iheanacho Subbed On As Leicester City Hold Ipswich Town

Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action as Leicester City held Ipswich Town to a 1-1 draw in Tuesdays Championship game.

Ndidi who making his 20th appearance, has netted two goals and bagged five assists this ongoing season.

He was issued a yellow card in the 53rd minute before been replaced by Casadei in the 56th minute.

Meanwhile, Iheanacho who came on as a substitute for Patson Daka in the 63rd minute, was making his 19th appearance and has netted five goals this ongoing season.

Stephy Mavididi had put the pacesetting Foxes ahead with a fine curled finish midway though a gripping first half at a packed Portman Road.

However, Leicester City failed to survived a frantic finish by the hosts, with Sam Morsy rescuing a point with a shot that deflected off both Ricardo Pereira and Vestergaard before beating goalkeeper Hermansen.

The draw means the Foxes remain six points clear of Ipswich, with third-placed Southampton cutting the gap to second to five points after their5-0 win over Swansea.
