EPL: Aina Scores First Goal, Awoniyi Subbed Off As Nottingham Forest Edge Aston Villa

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina grabbed his first Premier League goal for Nottingham Forest in the teams 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Nigerian international was making his eight appearance for Nottingham Forest this ongoing season.

The home side started the quicker of the two and took the lead in the fifth minute when Ola Aina guided a powerful long shot into the bottom corner.

The defeat ended Villas six-match unbeaten run and left Unai Emerys side in fifth place, five points behind leaders Manchester City, while Forest kept their first clean sheet at home this season to move up to 12th

Meanwhile, Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi was substituted in the 82nd minute for Danilo.

It was his 9th appearance in the league and has scored three goals.
