Reports had surfaced last week that Los Blancos were keen on acquiring the services of Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio in the winter window.
The Carlo Ancelotti led side have only three fit central defenders at the moment whom are David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger and Nacho Fernandez.
But Alaba and Rudiger have had their injury concerns and Nacho has had suspension issues which are a bit of worry for the club.
However it seems as though the club arent going into the market to recruit for new defenders.
According to marca.com, Los Blancos have no intention of signing Inacio and they arent even making plans to bolster their roster in January.
The club isnt also preparing to sell any players in the aforementioned transfer period.
Real Madrid havent usually reinforced their team during Florentino Perezs tenure with just a few stars like Emmanuel Adebayor, Diego Lopez and Lucas Silva making their way to the Santiago Bernabeu in the winter window.
France captain Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to the club in the summer of 2024.
They signed England midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the last summer transfer window.
They have won the Spanish League title (Laliga) a record 35 times
Los Blancos have also won the UEFA Champions League on 14 occasions which is another record.
Real Madrid are presently in second position in the Laliga standings after garnering a total of 28 points in 21 games.
They are currently on top of the Group C standings in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League standings with nine points after three rounds of fixtures.
