Sikiru Alimi scored the decisive goal as Remo Stars defeated Plateau United 1-0 to reclaim top spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Samson Obi gave Abia Warriors the lead on 73 minutes, while Dehinde Ibrahim added the second three minutes later.

Robert Mizo scored twice late on to help Bayelsa United earn a share of the spoils from the game.

Former champions Kano Pillars defeated Gombe United 5-2 at the Pantami Township Stadium.

Yusuf Abdullahi scored all five goals for Pillars, while Sadiq Shuaibu and Ahmed Jimoh were on target for Gombe United.
