AFCON 2023: Gusau Upbeat Super Eagles Will Rule Africa Again

President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau has expressed confidence in the ability of the Super Eagles to win the title at the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Gusau said Nigeria have the best player on the continent in Victor Osimhen which makes the Super Eagles a firm favourites for the title.

I have confidence in the team, he told Totori News.

We have upcoming and talented players, who are doing wonderfully well in their European clubs and ready to make a name for themselves.

We have the best player in Africa in Osimhen, but he has yet to win the AFCON.

Jose Peseiros side will begin their campaign against Equatorial Guinea at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday, January 14.
