Aina Named Forests Man Of The Match Vs Aston Villa

Super Eagles defender Ola Aina was named Man of the Match after helping Nottingham Forest defeat Aston Villa 2-0 in Sundays Premier League game.

Aina was announced winner of the award on Forests X handle, beating off competition from three other nominees.

The 27-year-old scored his first-ever goal for Forest after giving them the lead just five minutes into the game against Villa.

The last time he scored a goal was October 23 2022 during his time at Torino.

After the conclusion of votes by Forest fans, Aina polled 32.2 percent to emerge Man of the Match.

In second place was Harry Toffolo with 31.6 percent, Murillo finished third with 22.3 percent and Orel Mangala had 13.8 percent.
