Boniface, Kane, Sane Make Bundesliga Team Of The Month For September

Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface was included in the Bundesliga Team of the Month for September.

The Team of the Month was compiled by football facts and statistics website whoscored.com on their X handle.

Other notable players who also made the list are Bayern Munich trio Harry Kane, Leroy Sane and Joshua Kimmich and Dortmunds Matt Hummels.

It was a memorable month for Leverkusen summer signing Boniface who recorded four goals and provided one assist last month.

The 22-year-old bagged a brace twice in the month in review.

His only assist was in Leverkusens 5-1 home win against Darmstadt on match day three of the league season.

Boniface has already scored six goals in six games for Xabi Alonsos men.

Leverkusen have 16 points and currently top the Bundesliga league table.
