Chelsea Must Sell Mudryk, Others To Sign Osimhen Nevin

Chelsea hero Pat Nevin believes the Blues must have to sell Mykhaylo Mudryk, other regular players if the team must fund a deal for Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen.

Recall that the Nigerian international was on Monday named the Africa Footballer of the Year, after defeating the likes of Egypts Mohamed Salah and Moroccos Hakimi.

However, in a chat with TribalFootball, Nevin stated that the team must spend more to sign top quality striker like Osimhen.

A lot of teams would be interested in Mudryk! Im not saying Chelsea should get rid of him, but Chelsea will have to sell someone if they want to get a striker as good as Osimhen in the door.

I didnt like seeing Mason Mount go, and Im sure the club didnt either, but that sale made financial sense. Im sure similar calculations will be going on.

Theyll have to spend even more to get a top-quality striker in. I thought Victor Osimhen was the man a few years ago, and I still think he is.

Id imagine hes the one Chelsea will go for.
