Super Eagles duo of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were in action as Fulham lost 4-3 to Liverpool in Sundays Premier League game.

Iwobi, who was making his 12th appearance, has netted one goal for Fulham this ongoing season.

He was substituted in the 75th minute for Bobby Decordova-Reid after an impressive display.

His Nigerian compatriot played all 90 minutes but could not stop Liverpool from scoring.

It was his 10th appearance for Fulham in the league this ongoing season.

Alexander-Arnold had helped Liverpool open the scoring in the 20th minute when his free-kick ricocheted off the crossbar and in off Fulham keeper Bernd Leno.

Former Red Harry Wilson equalised four minutes later before Alexis Mac Allister restored Liverpools lead after 38 minutes with a stunning long-range strike.

Kenny Tete netted Fulhams second equaliser in first-half injury time and Bobby De Cordova-Reid headed the Cottagers into the lead in the 80th minute.

Fulham had looked set to end Liverpools 13-month unbeaten home record in the Premier League. Instead, the Reds kept up their perfect record at Anfield this season and cut Arsenals lead at the top to two points.
