Exclusive: Osimhen, Boniface Can Lead Super Eagles To 2023 AFCON Glory Esin

Former Nigerian international, Etim Esin says hes optimistic the duo of Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface can lead Super Eagles to glory in the fast approaching 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Recall that Nigeria has been pitted alongside host Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea in Group A.

However, Esin in a chat with Completesports.com stated that the Super Eagles have one of the strongest strike forces in the tournament.

He noted that Osimhen and Boniface have been banging goals in Serie A and Bundesliga and can replicate their form in the Super Eagles at the 2023 AFCON.

I am very confident with the crop of strikers we have presently in the Super Eagles. Both Osimhen and Boniface are good enough to lead to lead Nigeria to AFCON glory in Ivory Coast.

They have been banging in the goals in their respective clubs in Europe and I am confident they can do the same with the team.

I just pray the midfielders will be able to supply them with quality passes because I know Osimhen and Boniface are dangerous in front of goal.
