Plumptre Nominated For Saudi League Goal Of The Month Award

Ashleigh Plumptre is in the running for the Al Ittihads Goal of the Month award for December.

Plumptre scored a hat-trick in Al Ittihads 6-2 win against Al Ahly on December 16.

The centre-backs second goal in the big win is in contention for the award.

It was the Nigeria internationals second hat-trick for Al Ittihad since her arrival at the Jeddah-based club.

It would be recalled that Plumptre scored a hat-trick on her maiden appearance for Al Ittihad against Al Nassr.

Tanzanias Clara Luvanga, who plays for Al Nassr is also nominated alongside Mexicos Veronica Perez.

The 25-year-old, who joined the Tigers from Leicester City in the summer has scored six goals for the club.
