South Africa Hold Cte dIvoire To 1-1 Draw In Friendly Clash

South Africas Bafana Bafana held Cte dIvoire to a 1-1 draw in a friendly game in Abidjan on Tuesday.

It was a much improved performance from Bafana Bafana who were held to a goalless draw at home by Eswatini on Friday.

While on Saturday, Cte dIvoire had been held to a 1-1 draw by Morocco.

South Africa opened the scoring in 9th minute through Themba Zwane.

Cte dIvoire equalised thanks to Sebastien Haller on 66 minutes.

Haller was also in target for the Ivorians in the draw against Morocco.

Both South Africa and Cte dIvoire will play the Super Eagles in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and 2023 AFCON respectively.
