CAF Names Osimhen Among Top Stars To Shine At AFCON 2023

The Confederation of African (CAF) has picked Victor Osimhen among the top 10 players that will shine at the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote dIvoire.

CAF described Osimhen as the figurehead of Nigerias rich attacking frontline.

The Napoli hitman was top scorer in the qualifiers with 10 goals.

The 25-year-old also head into the competition as reigning African Footballer of the Year.

Osimhen will featuring at the AFCON for the second time.

The striker made his first appearance five years ago in Egypt but missed out on the last edition hosted by Cameroon due to injury.

Senegals Sadio Mane, Egypts talisman Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Kudus are some of the other top stars tipped by CAF to shine in Cote dIvoire.
