Ndidi Nominated For Championship Player Of The Month

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been nominated for PFA Championship Fan’ Player of the Month award for September.

Ndidi has enjoyed a great start to the 2023/24 season after he was moved to an advanced midfield position by manager Enzo Maresca.

The Nigeria international featured prominently in all of Leicester City’s Championship games last month.

The 26-year-old was on target in the Foxes 4-1 win against Southampton.

Ndidi was named Man of the Match in the game.

The Nigeria international’s Leicester City teammate Kiernan Dewberry-Hall is also in the running for the award.

Ipswich Town forward Nathan Broadhead, Sunderland’s Jack Clarke, Plymouths Morgan Whittaker and Liam Lindsay of Preston North End are the other players in contention for the award.
