A Nigerian lady is set to break up with her boyfriend after he refused to let her elder brother squat with him.
Sharing her plight anonymously on the microblogging platform X, she revealed that her partner lives in a shared apartment also.
She stated in her message that her boyfriend had helped her elder brother in getting a job, but refused to accommodate him.
She also added that her partner’s refusal is causing her and her family to have a rethink about their relationship.
Her post read;
“My boyfriend helped my elder bro get a PPA in his office a call center but in VI, no accommodation. I have been asking my boyfriend to let my brother stay with him but he said no that he can’t share his room. It’s a shared apartment in Lekki with his flatmates. Is that not wickedness, my family is telling me to break up.”
While the majority addressed the lady as an ingrate, others shared that what she and her family were displaying, is entitlement.
